Sigma Filter 67mm Protector LPT-21
Sigma Filter 67mm Protector LPT-21 | A simple barrier for your lens front
A mark on the front of a lens can be frustrating, especially when it happens during everyday carrying or handling. The Sigma Filter 67mm Protector LPT-21 is a protection filter that sits in front of a lens, giving its front element a separate surface to shield. It’s suited to photographers who want a straightforward layer of protection on a lens with a 67mm filter thread, whether the lens spends time in a camera bag or gets handled often. Its strongest use is everyday care: keep the protector fitted while carrying or using the lens, then clean the filter surface when it needs attention. This is a practical accessory, not a creative-effects filter, and it won’t change what kind of image you’re making. The key detail is the 67mm size, so it’s intended for lenses that take that filter diameter. If that matches your lens, this Sigma gives you a simple way to help keep its front glass away from routine contact.
Specialist Note
“Does this Sigma Protector fit my 67mm lens?” If the lens takes 67mm filters, yes—that’s the size to look for. I’d use the LPT-21 as an everyday guard when a lens goes in and out of a bag or gets handled regularly; leaving the protector fitted gives the front of the lens its own surface to take routine contact. It’s also handy when you’re changing lenses in a busy spot, since you can keep the protector in place between shots. Just remember what it is: a protective filter, not a way to alter the look of your photographs. Match the 67mm size, and its job is simple.
