Silicon Power PC60 Ext SSD 512GB USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C (Black)

Silicon Power PC60 Ext SSD 512GB USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C (Black) | Keep photo files close at hand

Keep a separate set of photo files close at hand with the Silicon Power PC60 Ext SSD. It’s an external solid-state drive with 512GB of storage, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C connection and a black finish. That makes it a straightforward option for photographers who want somewhere outside their computer to put image folders, project files or exports. The connection type is clearly identified, which is useful when you’re choosing storage around the ports you use. There’s no speed figure in the product name to compare, so I wouldn’t buy it on an assumed transfer rate. Instead, consider whether its capacity and connection suit the way you organise and move your files. For keeping a working set of images separate from your computer’s own storage, this is the core of the proposition.

A separate drive can make a photo workflow easier to organise: you might keep a current project together, or set aside finished folders once you’re done editing. The PC60 gives you one defined storage destination for that purpose. Its 512GB capacity is the concrete limit to plan around; how many images or projects fit will depend on their file sizes. If you’re deciding between this and another drive, compare the capacity and connection you actually need rather than relying on a general promise about speed. And if your files matter, think about how this drive fits into your wider backup routine: one storage location by itself shouldn’t be treated as a complete backup plan. It’s a simple product to assess by the details that are known—capacity, connection and format—without guessing at performance.
