Sirui Tag Clip C001
Sirui Tag Clip C001 | Keep a tag with your tripod gear
Without a clip, a tag can easily get separated from the piece of kit it’s meant to identify. The Sirui Tag Clip C001 is listed as a tripod accessory, and its name points to a simple, specific role: keeping a tag associated with tripod gear. It’s for photographers who want to identify a tripod or keep its label with it when equipment is stored or moved between people. This isn’t a general-purpose tripod component, and it doesn’t replace any part of a tripod. Its appeal is the focused job suggested by its name. If you’re sorting several tripods, or want a tag to stay with one particular setup, a dedicated tag clip is the relevant kind of accessory to look at. The listing identifies it as a tripod accessory, so the product is best considered for that context rather than as a camera support in its own right.
Specialist Note
The C001 has a narrow role, so I wouldn’t buy it expecting it to change how a tripod supports your camera. The reason to choose it is right in the name: it’s a Tag Clip. That points to keeping a tag with the tripod gear it identifies, rather than leaving the label loose in a case. It’s listed specifically as a tripod accessory, which makes sense if you’re labelling a tripod for storage or keeping identification with one setup in shared gear. I’d think of it as an organising aid, not a load-bearing part. If that small but specific job is what you need, the C001 is clearly named for it.
