Mini matte box for cleaner, more controlled images

This SmallRig matte box is built for video creators using mirrorless and cinema lenses. It helps reduce flare and unwanted light, protecting image contrast and overall picture quality when shooting in bright or challenging conditions.

Flexible filter support

The matte box comes with two 4 x 5.65" filter trays that mount quickly with a NATO clamp. This makes it easy to work with stacked filters and adapt your setup to different shooting needs.

Adjustable flags for better light control

A top flag and side flag help block stray light from multiple angles. The top flag opens up to 180°, while the side wings extend up to 40° for wider coverage. The side flag can be attached to either the matte box or a filter tray and also opens fully for maximum shading.

Wide compatibility

Included adapter rings make it easy to fit the matte box to a range of lens sizes. It can be mounted directly on cinema lenses with a 95 mm outer diameter, or used with mirrorless camera lenses and supported filter sizes.
