SmallRig 6070 Square ND Filter Kit (ND2 To ND16)
SmallRig 6070 Square ND Filter Kit (ND2 To ND16) | Control light in bright conditions
SmallRig 6070 Square ND Filter Kit (ND2 to ND16) gives you a range of neutral-density strengths in a square format. It’s for photographers who use square filters and want more control over exposure when the scene is bright. An ND filter reduces the light reaching the camera, which can help you choose a slower shutter speed for moving water or keep a wider aperture for a softer background in daylight. The range lets you choose a lighter or stronger reduction to suit the scene, rather than relying on one fixed strength. That makes it useful when light levels change during a landscape session or when you’re shaping motion in a long exposure. The square format also suits a filter workflow built around square filters. The product title gives the range, but no further details about filter sizes or construction, so I’d match it to your existing setup based on the format and the ND strengths you need.
Specialist Note
Changing the amount of light is the point here: choose a strength from ND2 to ND16, then set your exposure for the effect you want. I’d consider this kit if you already work with square filters and want options for daylight landscapes or a slower shutter on moving water. Start at the lighter end when you need a small exposure adjustment; move toward the stronger end when you want a more pronounced reduction in light. The square format is the key practical detail, so it makes sense as part of a square-filter setup rather than as a standalone screw-in filter. It’s a focused kit for exposure control, not a set of different filter effects.
