SmallRig SR5379 RC 100C COB LED Video Light Ink Blue Pro Version UK Plug 5379 | See continuous light as you record

For video scenes that need a steady light while you record, the SmallRig SR5379 RC 100C COB LED Video Light is a continuous-light option in Ink Blue. This Pro Version is identified as 5379 and comes in the UK Plug version. It suits video makers who want to see the light on their subject as they work, rather than judge a flash exposure after it has fired. That can be helpful for a presenter, a tabletop subject or a small staged scene, where light falling on the background matters too. Set your framing first, then watch how shadows and background brightness change as you position the light. That direct view makes it easier to judge the look of a scene as you build it.

Continuous lighting lets you assess its effect while the scene is in view. Change the angle or position, and you can see how the shadows and highlights shift. For product footage, that’s useful when you’re watching for unwanted reflections; for a person speaking to camera, it gives you a practical way to judge the balance between face and background. These are general ways to work with continuous light, not special modes or functions claimed for this model. The simple point is that the light stays part of the scene while you’re arranging the shot.

Before you start recording, decide what should draw the viewer’s eye. A subject can be separated from its background by the way light falls across the scene, while a change in angle can soften or deepen the shadows. Try a small adjustment, look at the frame again, and keep the setup that suits the footage. That hands-on process is one reason a continuous video light can be a sensible fit for a deliberate, considered shoot. It’s a straightforward tool category: the creative work comes from where you place the light and what you choose to illuminate.
