SMDV Speedbox-Flip Light Filter Kit

SMDV Speedbox-Flip Light Filter Kit | Shape colour and mood at the light

Add coloured light to portraits, product images and creative setups with the SMDV Speedbox-Flip Light Filter Kit, a set of seven colour filters for compatible SMDV Speedbox-Flip softboxes. Place a filter in front of the light source to change its colour tone or temperature: a warmer cast can shift the feel of a portrait, while a stronger colour accent can draw attention to a detail in a product photograph. The set also includes a diffuser, a honeycomb grid and a gel frame, so it brings together several light-shaping accessories in one compact kit. Its Speedbox-Flip fit makes filter changes quick during a session, rather than leaving you to secure loose gels with tape or separate clips. That’s useful when you want to move between a natural-looking light colour and a more expressive effect without interrupting the shoot. The filters are made for compatible SMDV Speedbox-Flip softboxes, where their fit supports even light distribution and avoids unwanted light loss. For portrait, product and experimental photography, this kit adds a direct way to change the colour and character of light from a Speedbox-Flip setup.

Colour and Light Control

• Seven colour filters: Choose from the supplied filters to shift the colour tone of the light. That gives you a range of colour options for expressive portraits, product work and other creative setups.
• Changes light colour and temperature: The filters alter the light that reaches your subject. Use a warmer tone to change the mood or a more noticeable colour to create an accent.
• Made for compatible Speedbox-Flip softboxes: The kit is intended for SMDV’s Speedbox-Flip system. The matching fit keeps the filters aligned with the softbox rather than relying on loose gels and improvised fastening.
• Quick filter changes: The Speedbox-Flip system allows filters to be swapped efficiently during a session. That’s valuable when a portrait or product setup needs a different colour treatment between images.
• Supports even light distribution: With the filters fitted to a compatible softbox, the set is intended to maintain an even spread of light and avoid unwanted light loss.
• Diffuser and honeycomb grid included: These additional light-shaping pieces extend the kit beyond colour changes. They give you further options when working with the softbox’s output.
