SWIT FM-U245HDR 24 UHD Monitor w/ Flight Case Tripod Adaptor 4x12G-SDI 8K HDR
SWIT FM-U245HDR 24 UHD Monitor w/ Flight Case Tripod Adaptor 4x12G-SDI 8K HDR | Clear viewing for production workflows
During a production day, a monitor earns its place when a crew needs a clear, shared view of the image instead of relying on a small display at the camera. The SWIT FM-U245HDR is a 24-inch UHD monitor for a dedicated viewing position. Its screen gives people room to assess the picture together, while UHD detail helps with close image checks. It suits production teams who need a larger monitor as part of their working setup, whether that’s at a video workstation or on location. This isn’t a pocket-sized screen designed to stay on a camera; it’s intended for a considered monitoring position. If your work calls for a 24-inch UHD display, the FM-U245HDR gives you a straightforward way to bring that view into the production environment.
Specialist Note
The flight case makes this monitor easier to move between work locations, which matters when a fixed viewing setup has to travel. I’d consider it for a production team checking an 8K HDR picture: use the tripod adaptor to set a viewing position, then make the 4x12G-SDI connections part of the signal workflow. That combination gives you a monitor suited to serious video production rather than a simple camera-top view. One practical point: at 24 inches, it needs space for a proper position; it isn’t a compact screen to carry on the camera. For crews working with 8K HDR, that’s a sensible trade-off.
