SWIT S-7005S | A Gold Mount to V-Mount transition for tripod rigs

When a tripod-based rig calls for a different battery-mount standard, the right plate can make the planned arrangement possible. The SWIT S-7005S is a tripod accessory described as a Gold Mount to V-Mount plate. Its job is specific: to provide a mounting-format transition from Gold Mount to V-Mount. That makes it relevant when those are the two standards your setup needs to bridge, rather than when you need a general-purpose tripod part. The direction in the name is useful when planning a build: Gold Mount is the starting side and V-Mount is the destination. Before choosing a plate, map the mount on the side you have against the one your rig calls for. This model suits camera operators and crew assembling or reconfiguring a tripod setup around that exact change. Its narrow purpose is its appeal when the mount transition matches your plan.

Specialist Note

The plate form puts the conversion at the mounting interface, which keeps the S-7005S’s role clear in a rig plan. Gold Mount is the starting standard named here; V-Mount is the destination. In practical terms, that means this is for a setup that needs the change in that direction—not a general plate for any mount combination. I’d consider it when building a tripod rig or reconfiguring one around that exact transition. My honest advice is to plan the rest of the arrangement around the specific Gold-to-V-Mount change. The S-7005S has a focused job, and that’s useful when it’s the job you need done.
