SWIT S-7500F S-7500F | Sony NP-F Dummy Battery w/ Pole DC Cable

SWIT S-7500F Sony NP-F Dummy Battery with Pole DC Cable | Power through a DC cable

When a camera setup is arranged around DC power rather than a battery in the device, the SWIT S-7500F gives you a dummy battery in the Sony NP-F format, connected by a Pole DC cable. It’s intended for equipment that accepts an NP-F battery, allowing the battery-shaped part to take the place of that battery while the cable connects to a DC power arrangement. That makes it relevant for a fixed or wired setup where you don’t want to rely on an NP-F battery in the device. The product name is refreshingly clear about the essentials: the battery format and the cable type. The important detail is to match both to your setup; an NP-F battery slot alone doesn’t tell you whether the Pole DC connection suits your power source. If those are the connections you need, this is a direct, purpose-specific way to make that change.

Choosing it for your setup

A dummy battery isn’t a standalone battery, so think of the S-7500F as part of a wired power arrangement, not as a spare NP-F pack. The dummy battery end is for the NP-F format; the cable is identified as Pole DC. Those two details are the useful starting point when deciding if it belongs in your setup. Match the battery format your equipment accepts, then make sure the cable connection fits the DC arrangement you plan to use. There’s no need to treat the model name as a promise of broader compatibility: its stated format is Sony NP-F, and its cable is specified as Pole DC. If your setup calls for those exact elements, the S-7500F keeps the purpose straightforward. If you’re selecting parts for a particular build, map out the battery-side fit and the cable-side connection before placing it in the power chain. That’s a more dependable approach than choosing by appearance or model name alone.
