Telesin ND32 Filter For DJI Osmo Action 3/4/5 Pro
Telesin ND32 Filter For DJI Osmo Action 3/4/5 Pro | Control bright light outdoors
Many action-camera filters are intended to protect a lens or keep reflections down; this Telesin ND32 is for controlling how much light reaches the camera. It’s a neutral-density filter for the DJI Osmo Action 3, 4 and 5 Pro, and its main benefit is straightforward: ND32 cuts the light by five stops. That makes it most useful outdoors in bright conditions, when you want to keep a chosen video shutter speed instead of letting the camera use a very fast one. Action-camera owners filming in sunshine, on the water or in open landscapes are the ones most likely to benefit. It’s a more specialised tool than an everyday lens cover, so it won’t be the right filter to leave on in every situation. In shade or as daylight fades, that five-stop reduction can be too much. Think of it as a way to manage bright light, rather than a general-purpose filter.
Specialist Note
New ND-filter users sometimes leave the filter on as the light changes, then wonder why the image gets too dark. ND32 removes five stops, so I’d reserve this one for genuinely bright scenes with your DJI Osmo Action 3, 4 or 5 Pro. For video at 30 fps, a shutter speed around 1/60 sec is a common starting point for natural-looking motion; in strong sun, this filter can help you hold that setting rather than letting the camera choose a much faster shutter. It suits outdoor action and sunny-water footage especially well. My honest advice: it’s a strong reduction, not an all-day setting—take it off when you move into shade or the light drops.
