Telesin ND64 Filter For DJI Osmo Pocket 3 | Tame bright daylight

In bright midday sun, video can look choppy if the shutter has to run too fast to keep exposure under control. The Telesin ND64 is a neutral density filter for the DJI Osmo Pocket 3, designed to reduce the light reaching the camera. ND64 denotes a 64× reduction, or six stops, giving you room to use a slower shutter in strong daylight. That can help keep motion looking more natural in walking footage or when filming moving water. It suits Pocket 3 owners who want more control over exposure outdoors, especially when the light is too intense for the shutter setting they’d prefer. The filter’s value is its specific, strong light reduction; it’s not a general-purpose protective filter. In lower light, that much reduction can be more than you need, so it’s best suited to bright conditions.

Specialist Note

Harsh sun can force the Pocket 3 into a shutter speed that makes movement look abrupt; this ND64 gives you a way to bring that speed down. Because it cuts six stops of light, it’s particularly suited to bright outdoor scenes, such as keeping a walking clip’s motion more natural or softening the look of a small stream. Set your preferred shutter first, then adjust exposure around the available light. It’s made for the DJI Osmo Pocket 3, so this is a focused add-on for that camera rather than a filter to shop for across different systems. In shade or indoors, the strong reduction may be too much.
