Telesin Two-Claw Magnetic Base Insta360 Ace / Ace Pro | A dedicated base for action-camera viewpoints

Without a dedicated base, positioning an action camera depends on whatever mounting setup you already have. The Telesin Two-Claw Magnetic Base gives Insta360 Ace and Ace Pro owners a base designed around those cameras, combining a two-claw design with a magnetic base. It suits people who want to set up their camera for action, sports or travel, and is particularly relevant for sports footage, travel videos, vlogging and point-of-view recording. The idea is straightforward: use this base as the mounting point for your camera when choosing a viewpoint for the shot. That makes it an accessory to consider when your filming plans call for a camera position beyond simply holding the camera yourself. It’s a focused option for Ace and Ace Pro owners; its appeal is the specific base design, rather than extra camera features.

Specialist Note

This base won’t add recording functions to your camera, so it’s specifically for changing how you set up an Insta360 Ace or Ace Pro. I’d consider it if you want a dedicated base for action or travel footage: the two-claw design gives the mount a defined interface, while the magnetic base is the other part of its mounting approach. For a sports point-of-view clip, choose the viewpoint that shows the action and use the base to position the camera there. It can also suit travel vlogging when you want a camera position other than handheld. Its appeal is closely tied to the Ace and Ace Pro, so it’s not a general-purpose camera accessory.
