Tilta TGA-PK2 Protection Kit For RS 3 | Added support for handheld video

Handheld video can become tiring when the camera needs more support than a bare setup provides. The Tilta TGA-PK2 Protection Kit For RS 3 is a shoulder rig for RS 3 users who want a supported way to work handheld. It gives you a rig-based option for supporting the camera during video recording, rather than treating it as a standalone handheld setup. That makes most sense for operators filming interviews, short walk-throughs or other takes where they need to stay mobile while supporting the camera. Its purpose is straightforward: support the camera during handheld video work. If you mostly film from a tripod, a shoulder rig may not be the support you reach for most often. For RS 3 owners who regularly shoot handheld, though, the TGA-PK2 is a focused way to build that support into their video setup.

Specialist Note

For a seated interview or a slow walk-through with an RS 3, I’d use the TGA-PK2 when I want to work handheld with added support. The RS 3 compatibility makes this a specific option for people already using that system, while the shoulder-rig format gives you a way to support the camera during a take instead of relying on a bare handheld hold. I’d use it for interview coverage, then keep a walk-through at a measured pace to help manage the framing. It suits RS 3 users who make video away from a fixed tripod. The honest limit is that it’s a focused support kit, not a general-purpose rig for every camera setup.
