Tilta TK-IP-ND15-B Khronos Magnetic FSND 1.5 Filter For iPhone - Black | Control bright light for iPhone video

Tilta TK-IP-ND15-B Khronos Magnetic FSND 1.5 Filter For iPhone - Black is a magnetic filter with a stated FSND 1.5 strength, made for iPhone use. It’s aimed at phone filmmakers and video creators who want to manage bright light when recording outdoors or near a sunlit window. A neutral-density filter reduces the light reaching the camera, giving you more room to choose your exposure instead of simply letting bright conditions dictate it. That can be helpful when you want motion in a shot to look natural rather than overly sharp, or when the scene is bright enough to challenge your preferred settings. The magnetic design is the practical draw: it offers a direct way to attach a filter to a compatible iPhone setup, without handling a screw-in filter. This is a specific-strength option, so it suits creators who want the 1.5 filter effect, rather than a variable control for changing density.

Specialist Note

With a magnetic filter, adding this to an iPhone setup is intended to be a quick step, rather than a fiddly screw-on process. I’d consider it for outdoor clips where you want to keep movement looking natural while the daylight is strong: fit the FSND 1.5, then set your exposure for the look you want. The 1.5 strength gives you a defined amount of light reduction, which makes it easier to repeat a chosen look than to guess at a variable setting. It’s best suited to iPhone creators who work with a compatible magnetic setup and have a use for this particular strength. One limitation: it won’t adjust across changing light on its own, so you may need to remove it as conditions shift.
