Equipped with this extender, objects appear 1.6 times closer than they actually are. This means that if you're using a TE11WZ eyepiece, instead of the standard 25-60x zoom, you will get a magnified view of 40-96x. The extender is strategically placed between the spotting scope and the eyepiece. The quality of Kowa is exceptional to the point that there is almost no light suppression or loss.
