TTArtisan Body Cap Leica M Black
TTArtisan Body Cap Leica M Black | Keep your Leica M body covered
When you take a lens off your Leica M body to pack it away or change lenses, the open mount needs a cover. The TTArtisan Body Cap Leica M Black is made for that straightforward job: it fits over the camera’s lens opening when no lens is attached. It’s a practical accessory for Leica M owners who store a body separately, carry it between locations, or keep a spare body ready without a lens mounted. Instead of leaving the opening exposed in a camera bag or on a shelf, you can put the cap in place until you’re ready to attach a lens again. Its black colour makes for a restrained look alongside a black camera. There’s no extra function to learn or setting to adjust; this is a simple cover for the moments when your Leica M body is without a lens.
Specialist Note
An open lens mount is easy to overlook when you’re packing up, and that’s the small nuisance this cap removes for a Leica M owner. I’d keep it close at hand for storing a body without a lens, or use it while swapping lenses so the camera isn’t left uncovered between changes. The black finish keeps the accessory visually unobtrusive on a black setup, and the Leica M designation makes its intended system clear. My honest caveat: it’s a cover, not a lens or a substitute for one, so its job begins only when the body is bare. For a Leica M body kept separately, that’s a sensible little piece of kit.
