Ulanzi A30 TinyMic Wireless Microphone Set Black | Speak freely on camera

Without a wireless mic, a speaker often has to stay close to the recording device or work around a cable. The Ulanzi A30 TinyMic Wireless Microphone Set Black is a wireless microphone set for people who want more freedom to arrange a spoken recording. It suits creators making talking-head videos, interviewers recording a conversation, and anyone who wants to speak naturally without building a shot around a fixed position. Its clearest use is voice-led content: decide where the speaker will stand, frame the shot, then record from there instead of moving the camera closer just to capture speech. That can make a simple video or small interview easier to set up. The set is a focused option for recording speech, rather than a complete audio workflow. If your priority is being able to arrange a recording without a cable between speaker and recording position, this Ulanzi is worth considering. Its black finish also gives it a restrained look in a dark setup.

Specialist Note

A wireless microphone set can’t fix a noisy room, but the A30 TinyMic gives you more freedom to position the speaker without planning around a cable. I’d consider it for a short interview where the camera needs to stay framed on both people: agree on where each person will sit, then let them speak from those positions rather than leaning toward the camera. For a talking-head clip, that same freedom can help you keep a comfortable distance from the camera. The black finish may be less noticeable against dark clothing or a dark background, though it won’t disappear in every setup. It suits speech-focused recording when simple, wireless placement is the priority.
