Urth 39mm CPL Lens Filter Pro
Urth 39mm CPL Lens Filter Pro | Control reflections and sky glare
The Urth 39mm CPL Lens Filter Pro is a 39mm circular polarising filter for photographers who want more control over reflections and glare in a scene. It’s particularly useful for landscapes, travel photographs and images made through glass, where reflected light can distract from the subject. By turning a polarising filter as you compose, you can adjust how much of that reflected light is reduced; the effect depends on the light and your angle to it. A CPL can also deepen the appearance of a blue sky when the sun is off to the side, giving clouds more separation without relying on heavy editing. This filter suits photographers who want to make that adjustment while shooting, rather than trying to recreate it later. The 39mm size is the key practical detail when choosing it for a lens: the filter needs to match the lens’s filter thread.
Specialist Note
Rotate the CPL as you frame, and you can see the reflection change rather than having to guess at the result. I’d use that control for a shop window or water surface, turning the filter until the glare is reduced to the level you want. For a landscape, try the same adjustment with the sun to one side; that’s when a polariser can give a blue sky more depth. The 39mm size makes this a specific fit, so match it to a lens with a 39mm filter thread. One honest limitation: the sky effect varies with your shooting direction, so it won’t look equally strong in every frame.
