Urth 67 82mm Step Up Ring Lens Filter Adapter
Urth 67 82mm Step Up Ring Lens Filter Adapter | Share larger filters across lenses with smaller threads
Use a larger filter on a lens with a smaller filter thread, so one filter size can serve more than one lens in your kit. The Urth 67 82mm Step Up Ring Lens Filter Adapter gives you that connection: fit it between the lens and a suitably sized filter, then attach the filter as usual. It’s aimed at photographers who already own larger filters, or who want to build around one common filter size instead of buying a separate filter for every lens. That can make a landscape kit easier to organise when you swap lenses for reflected-light control or longer exposures. The ring handles the change in thread size; it doesn’t create the effect itself, so choose a polariser, ND filter or other filter for the result you want. Its appeal is practical and specific: sharing filters, not adding a new effect to your images.
Specialist Note
This is the neat answer when you want a larger filter to work on a lens with a smaller front thread, instead of buying another filter in the smaller size. The ring steps from 67mm at the lens to 82mm at the filter, so match those two measurements before you screw the parts together; that’s the detail that makes it useful, and also its limit. I’d suggest it to someone consolidating filters for landscape work: fit the ring, then attach a matching polariser to manage reflections, or an ND filter for longer exposures. It adapts the connection, not the filter effect, so it suits a kit already built around that larger filter size.
