WANDRD Veer 18 - Cobalt

WANDRD Veer 18 - Cobalt | Packs flat, carries camera gear

The WANDRD Veer 18 - Cobalt has an inflatable back panel that gives this 18-litre camera backpack its shape when inflated and lets it fold down when deflated. It’s a thoughtful option for carrying a camera and several lenses on hikes, city outings and travel days, especially when storage space matters between outings. The Photo bundle also includes an inflatable camera cube to cushion your camera inside the bag. That combination makes the Veer a distinctive day pack: it carries camera gear on the move, then packs away compactly when you’re done. Its 18-litre capacity is sized for a day out, while the packable construction is handy for travel when you want a backpack available at your destination without carrying a full-size bag the whole way. Water-resistant materials and weather-resistant YKK zippers add useful protection when the weather turns damp.

Packable design and storage

• Inflatable back panel: Inflate it to form the backpack and provide a shaped panel against your back. Deflate it when you want to fold the bag down for storage.
• Inflatable camera cube: The included cube adds a cushioning layer around your camera inside the backpack, keeping camera protection part of the packable setup.
• Water-resistant materials: The fabric is water-resistant, a welcome feature when a hike or city day brings changeable weather.
• Weather-resistant YKK zippers: These zippers add another measure of weather protection at the bag’s openings.
• Two handy pockets: A side pocket holds a water bottle, while the front pocket keeps small accessories close at hand.

What fits inside

The 18-litre capacity is intended for a camera plus several lenses, making the Veer suitable for a camera setup on a hike, city visit or travel day. The camera cube provides cushioning for the camera within that load. There’s also room to make use of the bottle pocket and front accessory pocket for items you want close at hand. It’s best thought of as a day-pack-sized camera bag, rather than a larger pack for extended trips.
