Wooden Camera A00027 Micro Battery Plate Adapter Gold Mount To V-Mount
Wooden Camera A00027 Micro Battery Plate Adapter Gold Mount To V-Mount | Bridge two plate standards
Having two different battery-plate standards in one power setup can leave you searching for a way to join them. The Wooden Camera A00027 Micro Battery Plate Adapter is named for that specific job: it provides a Gold Mount to V-Mount adapter connection. It suits camera crews and rig builders whose planned setup calls for those two standards to meet, rather than someone looking for a general-purpose power accessory. Its value is in solving a narrow compatibility problem at the plate level, so you can plan around a particular Gold-to-V arrangement instead of changing the rest of a rig to match. The title identifies the adapter type clearly, which helps when you’re sorting power components or specifying parts for a build. Keep its intended role in mind: this is a focused mount-format adapter, not a broad solution for every power need in a camera setup.
Planning the connection
Before adding it to a rig plan, note which plate standard is at each end of the connection. That keeps the A00027 assigned to the particular transition shown in its name. If a kit is shared between operators, label the adapter by its conversion direction rather than simply filing it with other power accessories; that makes its intended role easier to identify during prep. It’s a part for a specific interface, so plan around that role.
Specialist Note
“Does the A00027 take me from Gold Mount to V-Mount?” Yes—that’s the conversion named for this Micro Battery Plate Adapter. If your rig plan has those two plate standards on opposite sides of a connection, this is the part to consider. It suits crew members building or organizing a setup around that specific change, rather than anyone after a general adapter. I’d write both ends into the power diagram before prep, then keep the A00027 with that transition so nobody has to guess its purpose. The useful point is its clearly defined Gold-to-V role. Keep expectations to that plate-format job; it isn’t a catch-all power solution.
