Wooden Camera A00400 Bolt-On Mini Hook And Loop Plate 1/4-20
Wooden Camera A00400 Bolt-On Mini Hook And Loop Plate 1/4-20 | Add a compact hook-and-loop plate to your rig
The defining choice here is a mini plate rather than a larger mounting surface: Wooden Camera keeps this tripod accessory compact for setups where a small attachment point is all you need. It combines hook-and-loop fastening with a bolt-on 1/4-20 connection, so it suits photographers building a rig around that specific threaded fitting and wanting to incorporate a hook-and-loop plate. The design is most relevant when you want to add that plate without making a larger accessory the focus of your setup. It’s a straightforward, purpose-specific part, not a general-purpose tripod head or a complete mounting system. Use the 1/4-20 connection as the deciding factor when planning where it belongs in your rig; the mini format makes it a sensible option when space is a consideration. If your setup calls for a different attachment point, this is unlikely to be the part you need.
Specialist Note
Photographers who shoot with compact rigs and want a small hook-and-loop mounting point are the people I’d point towards this plate. The 1/4-20 bolt-on connection gives you a clear way to plan its place: use it where your setup has the matching threaded point, rather than trying to adapt it to an unrelated fitting. Its mini format is useful when you want the plate itself to take up little room; think of adding a specific hook-and-loop attachment point to a pared-back tripod setup, or keeping that option available on a compact rig. I’d keep expectations focused: this is a small plate, not a broad mounting platform. Match the connection and the job, and its purpose is easy to understand.
