Wooden Camera A00526 Bolt-On Accessory Plate Adapter Flat 3/8-16
Wooden Camera A00526 Bolt-On Accessory Plate Adapter Flat 3/8-16 | A flat plate adapter for a matching thread
To give a compatible rig accessory a flat, bolt-on mounting point, the Wooden Camera A00526 Bolt-On Accessory Plate Adapter Flat 3/8-16 provides a simple interface with a 3/8-16 thread. It suits camera operators and rig builders who need to join an accessory to a plate using that specific thread size. The flat format makes it a straightforward option when your setup calls for a plate adapter rather than a different-shaped connection. Think of it as a small linking part in a larger rig: its job is to provide the named mounting interface, not to add controls or change how your camera operates. Match the thread to the accessory you want to attach, and this adapter can help make a bolt-on arrangement possible. Its usefulness comes down to that precise fit.
Fit and use
Start by checking that the accessory you intend to mount has a 3/8-16 connection. That gives you a clear basis for deciding if this flat bolt-on adapter suits your setup. It’s a focused part for a specific mounting need, rather than a general-purpose solution for different thread sizes or connection types.
Specialist Note
The flat plate shape keeps the mounting approach simple: you’re working with a plate adapter, not a shaped or adjustable fitting. I’d consider it for a rig where an accessory needs a bolt-on connection, such as adding a matching-thread component to a plate. The key detail is the 3/8-16 thread; use that as your check before planning the setup, so the parts have the connection they need. This suits someone assembling a rig with a specific mounting point in mind. One limitation is that the thread size is specific, so it won’t resolve a mismatch with a differently threaded accessory.
