Wooden Camera Sony E-Mount To ARRI LPL Mount Adapter
Wooden Camera Sony E-Mount To ARRI LPL Mount Adapter | Connect two mount formats
Without a mount adapter, an ARRI LPL lens and a Sony E-mount camera body have different mounting interfaces. The Wooden Camera Sony E-Mount To ARRI LPL Mount Adapter is the link between those formats, for crews who want to use an LPL-mount lens in a Sony E-mount setup. It’s most relevant when the lens choice is already set by a production or visual plan, but the camera body is Sony E. That makes it a focused rigging accessory rather than a general-purpose add-on: its job is to join the two named mounts. If you’re planning a camera build around an E-mount body while keeping an LPL lens in the setup, this adapter is worth considering. It handles the mount connection; the camera and lens remain your choices.
Specialist Note
Can I use this to put an ARRI LPL lens on a Sony E-mount camera? Yes—that’s the pairing indicated by this adapter’s name. The Sony E mount identifies the camera side of the setup, while ARRI LPL identifies the lens format you’re bringing across. I’d look at it when a production has an LPL lens in its package but the chosen body is Sony E: place the adapter between the lens and camera to make that mount pairing. It can also help keep an LPL lens option in an E-mount camera build. One boundary to keep in mind: this is a mount adapter, not a lens or a camera feature upgrade.
