Wooden Camera Universal Lens Support Offset Adapter
Wooden Camera Universal Lens Support Offset Adapter | Position lens support off-centre
A lens support can be positioned to suit your rig rather than forcing your setup around a straight-line arrangement. The Wooden Camera Universal Lens Support Offset Adapter is an adapter for lens support, with an offset design that helps place the support where it’s needed. It’s aimed at camera users building a setup that uses lens support and need an offset in that arrangement. Its job is specific: adapt the position of the support, rather than change how the lens works. That makes it most relevant when the support and the rest of the rig don’t line up as you need them to. Think of it as a small positioning part for a considered rig build, not an accessory that adds lens features. If your setup calls for an offset lens-support position, this is the kind of part to look at.
Specialist Note
People new to lens support can assume the support must sit directly in line with the rest of the setup; this adapter is made for the cases where an offset position is needed. I’d consider it when arranging a lens-support setup for a rigged camera, especially if the support’s placement is the sticking point. The word “offset” is the useful detail here: it tells you this part is about changing the support’s position, not adding a new function to your lens. And “adapter” is worth keeping in mind too—it belongs in the support arrangement, rather than replacing the support itself. It’s a focused solution, so it makes sense when you specifically need that offset.
